Newcastle Brown Ale

Newcastle Brown Ale was originally produced in Newcastle Upon Tyne but is now produced by Heineken at the John Smith’s Brewery in Tadcaster , North Yorkshire. In it’s native land of the UK , Newcastle Brown Ale is perceived as a working mans beer , which is mainly due to a long run association to heavy industry. However, where Newcastle Brown Ale is imported it has a different image altogether as a young and trendy beer and is the choice of a much younger generation of beer drinkers.
